Open-cast mining of raw material is one of the traditional fields in VITKOVICE, which is closely associated with our corporation VITKOVICE GEARWORKS, a. s. Within longtime activity in this field Vitkovice produced and supplied tens various types of excavators, spreaders according to individual customers’ requirements.
The other traditional products of the engineering activity are dumping machines, which are destined for loose material manipulation. It includes especially the design and supply of portal belt conveyers, portal bucket loaders and homogenization bulldozers, combined bucket wheel stockyard machines, spreaders, dedicated or combined angle dozers with stowing system, rotary belt conveyers and rotary bulldozers.
All types are designed on track undercarriage; drives of individual machine are equipped with hydraulic motors or with frequency controlled electric motors. The control of dumping machines is continuously modernized and designed with use of modern control systems.
The development of dumping machines is aimed especially to decrease of negative effects on the environment (dustiness, noisiness) to decrease in energy demand, increase of work safety and also increase of reliability of individual machine nodes, which results in a decrease of maintenance costs.
