The corporation Gearworks a. s. owns certificate of quality management system as per EN ISO 9001:2000 in the following branches:
- Design, production, assembly, service, revision, repairing, testing of motive systems – gear boxes, including a production and assembly of parts for the general machinery industries.
- Project engineering in the area of energetic and open-cast mining.
Gearworks a. s. owns certificate for steel construction making as per ČSN 732601-Z2:1995.
Quality system is certificated by the company TUV NORD Czech, s. r. o.
In the corporation is welding process supervision secured by the welding engineer, who has valid certificate as per IWE (educated as per regulation DOC.EWF 02-409-93).
All testing of the welds is ensured by the workers from the Quality control, certified by EN 719.
Gearworks a. s. has certified welders with a state examination certificate as per ČSN 287-1 for welding procedures.
- 111 covered electrode welding
- 135 welding by MAG method
- 311 oxy-acetylene welding
Currently preparing for certificate of system of environmental management as per EN ISO 14001 is in process and would be going through in 2010.
